Early in 2002 I suggested to a friend that he might consider opening an online store to retail the Brass Home Decor Accessories he was wholesaleing to various shops and catalogs.
After many months when I again saw this friend and asked if he had considered my suggestion he replied that he knew nothing about the internet and did not really want to learn either. At this point he challenged me to set up a website and sell his products.
So now many years later I am (together with my wife for many years) the owner of Brass Home Decor a site specializing in Brass Home Decor accessories and Gifts.
I have also during that time advised on Interior design projects for various people. Taking my inspiration from many different sources (not just the seagulls on Miami Beach).
Ok so this blog will concentrate on many accessories and Home Decor accents my friend produces but will also contain ramblings from me on other subjects. However as these Home Decor products cover categories like, Country Decor, Western Decor, Beach Decor, as well as Candle Holders, Door Knockers, Kitchenware all the way to Christmas Decor I hope there will be enough diversity to make you come back and read new articles or at the very least subscribe to this blog.
I am a big fan of certain bloggers in the Home Decor field, like Averill the Houston Lawyer whose blog “Odi et Amo“**** is great.
